Formula

The International Festival of East Slavic Carols is not a competition. The groups are treated equally and participate in two days of festival auditions. The organizers of the International Festival of East Slavic Carols, a cultural event with an international dimension, are guided by the following objectives:

cultivating and grooming Christmas traditions, presentation of Christmas carols characteristic of The East Slavic traditions, with a special focus on the multicultural and multi-faith South Podlasie,

mutual presentation of cultural achievements, exchange of experience, mutual knowledge and integration of multicultural environments within the community,

restoring the role of Christmas carols in deepening the religiosity of nations.

Participants of the International Festival of East Slavic Carols can be:

• choirs,
• carol bands,
• folk bands.

As part of the festival auditions, each participant performs at least four Carols, including at least two in the tradition of the Eastern Church, with a total presentation time of up to 15 minutes.
