§ 1.
The “XXVI International Festival of East Slavic Carols”, hereinafter referred to as “the Festival”, will take place from 28-29.01.2023 in the form of festival auditions in Terespol. Festival does not have the formula of the competition.
§ 2.
The organizers of the Festival are:
- Lublin-Chelm Orthodox Diocese
- Municipal Cultural Centre in Terespol
- The Nadbuzanski Centre for Orthodox Culture
§ 3.
The objectives of the Festival are:
- cultivating and grooming Christmas traditions, presentation of Christmas carols characteristic of East Slavic traditions, with a special focus on the multicultural and multi-faith South Podlasie;
- mutual presentation of cultural achievements, exchange of experience, mutual knowledge and integration of multicultural environments within the community;
- restoring the role of Christmas carols in deepening the religiosity of nations.
§ 4.
Participants of the Festival can be: choirs, carol bands, folk ensembles.
§ 5.
Registration of participation in the Festival is made through the completed electronic form of the Application Card. The electronic form of the Application Card is Annex 1 to these regulations and is available on the Website of the Festival: www.mfkw.pl.
§ 6.
By registering to participate in the Festival, you agree to these terms and conditions.
§ 7.
The entry to participate in the Festival shall be made by the deadline of 20.01.2023 The date on which the application was received shall be determined.
§ 8.
The decision on the participation and number of choirs/ensembles in the Festival will be taken by the Chapter, appointed by the organizers. The decision of the Chapter shall be final and free from explanation.
§ 9.
The qualified teams will be informed of this fact by e-mail, telephone or fax with acknowledgement of receipt by 21.01.2023
§ 10.
As part of the Festival Auditions, each participant performs at least four Carols, including two in the tradition of the Eastern Church, with a total presentation time of up to 15 minutes.
§ 11.
For participation in the Festival all choirs/bands will receive commemorative diplomas and gifts.
§ 12.
The Festival program can be enriched with events accompanying: . such as exhibitions, presentations, guest appearances, film screenings, etc.
§ 13.
The organizers provide a meal to all participating choirs/bands. Participants from abroad and remote parts of the country can also provide accommodation.
§ 14.
The organizer provides sound equipment, technical and acoustic support. Each time before the concert, the technical conditions for the concert of the invited band will be determined.
§ 15.
The organizers reserve the right to register the Festival with audio, video and photo technology and to use the recorded works freely, with the exception of the author’s works, for which the author or performer has objected to the Application Card.
§ 16.
- I agree to the processing of my personal data / personal data of my daughter, son and image (publication of photos on the organizers’ websites, other forms of promotion) for the purposes necessary for the implementation and promotion of the project: “XXVI International Festival of East Slavic Carols” (in accordance with the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data DZ. U. of 1997 No. 133, item 883 of the amendments.).

§ 17.
Participants, during the Festival, have the right to distribute their own creations (records, CDs, cassettes).

All issues not covered by the Regulations are decided by the organizers.
