The Foundation ” Dialogue of nations” has been in operation since April 2007. It operates on the basis of the applicable provisions of Polish law concerning the foundations and its statutes. It has legal personality.
The objectives of the Foundation, as set out in the statutes, provide its wide field of action. They concern activities supporting the ideas of civil society development of central and eastern European countries in the areas of social, information, cultural, sports, scientific, technical and educational, environmental protection, tourism, rural development and entrepreneurship.
As part of its statutory activities, the Foundation can undertake comprehensive efforts to build a community of nations, in particular the development and integration of European countries, their local communities, the market, the economy and democracy. The Foundation’s focus is on all projects aimed at developing international, cross-border, regional and local cooperation. The Foundation also supports all kinds of activities aimed at protecting culture, national heritage, monuments, support for national, religious and ethnic minorities.
Moreover, it is open to cooperation with organisations and institutions whose statutory objectives are consistent with the above described.
The Foundation achieves its objectives by
activities enabling the development of contacts between representatives of equal countries, communities and religious associations to establish cooperation, democracy, culture, art, jobs, education, prevent discrimination
organizing and financing of various educational activities, e.g. readings, seminars, symposia, workshops, trainings
carrying out publishing activities
measures to level the playing field for vulnerable groups or those at risk of social exclusion
running, supporting and developing tourism activities
running various educational centres for children, young people and adults including schools and kindergartens
conducting scholarship programmes, traineeships and activities related to the labour market
financial, in-kind, organizational and intellectual assistance provided to persons, institutions or organizations
financing, cooperation, establishment of health institutions
environmental protection
revitalization, preservation and restoration of natural, cultural and religious heritage
developing and financing modern technological solutions, as well as promoting forgotten crafts
organizing and sponsoring concerts, performances, films, competitions, theatrical performances, exhibitions, sporting events and travel expeditions, promoting and conducting artists and bands
the use of multimedia techniques for the education and development of civic thought and the general social good
cooperation with local authorities, government authorities and non-governmental organizations to the extent listed for the Foundation’s activities
raising european and other national funds in pursuit of the Foundation’s objectives.
Since 2008, the Foundation has been co-organizing the International Festival of East Slavic Carols.
